Katrina grew up in a family of artists in Greenwich Village New York City, where her exposure to the art and design world began at an early age. Her interest in the arts led her to further her education at Fashion Institute of Technology and The School of Visual Arts. She had worked professionally in the Fashion world as a costume jewelry designer for both Gerald Yosca and M&J Hansen Designs in Manhattan.
Katrina relocated to San Pedro Belize in the late 1990’s where she founded and owned San Pedro Woodworks, a construction/woodworking company specializing in customised high end furniture and cabinetry featuring exotic hardwoods. Focusing on interior and furniture design Katrina's clients ranged from the business sector to luxury resorts and private condominiums. Her original paintings, murals, and mosaic work have also been installed in many site specific interior hospitality and domestic sites in Belize.
